Where does it have to be fitted on my vehicle?
This could be under the bonnet up against a bulkhead or similar. You can fit it into the engine bay but it must be away from exhaust manifold heat, not fouling any steering or moving parts or be touching engine cooling pipes that will heat it up. There is no need to drill holes since we have found by using the long plastic cable ties supplied, sufficient brackets and holes in your cars panels and bulkheads give sufficient support to hold the Hydrogen Generator firmly in place. You do not tie it to the engine or hot parts or moving parts! That is a no no!
You can fit it in the rear bed of a pick up truck behind the cab, into the rear of a van, into the rear of an estate or Land Rover type and in the boot of a saloon or hatch car. Where a boot/pick up bed mount is the only extra you may need to buy from our shop the boot mount kitwhich provides you with a longer hose and electrical cables to reach the location in the boot. The hose and cables need to be safely and securely fitted to the body of the vehicle along its length, seek professional advice.
This can be used on positive or negative earth vehicles when connected up in accordance with polarity.
You will need one O2 enhancer from our online shop for a JEEP installation
How does the Hydrogen Oxygen Gas get into the engine air intake system?
Included in the kit are the parts you will need so you can fit it as we do into the air filter box. See picture below.
PARTS: Distilled water and Sodium Hydroxide
Its as easy as making gravy !!
The instruction manual is very easy to follow. You will need only 3 Litres of distilled water (you buy locally to you) initially to fill and have some left over to top up. We use Sodium Hydroxide which is called the catalyst to make it work, which is very cheap and available as crystals in small quantities (instruction manual tells you where to get it locally, cost only about £3 per year). We are SAFETY FIRST people as the sodium hydroxide will sting/burn skin and eyes if contact is made in concentrated form so we wear gloves and goggles when handling it. It must not be inhaled or consumed. We rinse thoroughly in water if any contact occurs with skin.
When diluted to the degree required in the Hydrogen Generator it is then a very weak solution but we still remain very cautious and work safe. We take no responsibility or liabilities for injury incurred whatever or however caused to any one, but use carefully and safely as we do.
By following the instructions the very weak mix of water and the catalyst means the reading on the meter supplied in the kit will be between 10 - 20. We have tested the Series 5 at 30 amps for hours without any problems in our test vehicle, however you only need to run it at a 10 - 15 amps, well within its capability.
Engine Sensors
Its the silver cylinder with yellow and black wires attached.
Shown here on a Jeep 4.0L Petrol.
Later vehicles that have oxygen sensors fitted may need a small device to get the best from the Hydrogen Generator fuel savings. Some of the ECU's in cars monitor the oxygen in the exhaust and intake. With the additional oxygen fed in by the Hydrogen Generator the ECU enriches the fuel to compensate. To control this there is an O2 Sensor kit available (one is shown above) in our shop which you can order and fit.
Some people have asked us about Flash Arresters. If you want one, we can supply one, you can fit it in the pipe before the connection to the air box.
